18+ only
9jaLive is for adults. If you are under 18, do not use it. If you think someone you are talking to is under 18, press Report and choose "Seems under 18": we treat these reports first. Anyone who writes that they are under 18 is blocked automatically.
Video chat
- Your camera must show you, live. No recorded videos, screens or pictures of other people.
- No nudity or sexual acts. Ever. This means an instant ban.
- If someone breaks the rules, press the flag to report. You can also blur their video at any time.
Be decent
No harassment, hate speech (including tribal, ethnic or religious hate), threats, bullying, blackmail or sexual messages.
Keep it private
Do not share or ask for phone numbers, WhatsApp, Instagram or other social media handles, addresses, bank details or money. Links and contact details are removed automatically, and messages asking for them are blocked. Anyone asking you for money, airtime, data or a "small favour" is a scammer. Press Report.
No spam or ads
No selling, promoting, loan offers, investment or crypto schemes, or repeated messages.
No tricks
Do not use bots or scripts, pretend to be someone else, or try to get around a ban (for example by clearing your browser data or using another device).
What happens if you break the rules
When several different people report the same user, that user is blocked automatically: first for 24 hours, then 7 days, then permanently. The block applies to your device, and a moderator can also block a network for a short time. Repeatedly sending blocked messages gets you a short automatic ban. Short snippets of the last messages in a reported chat are kept so we can review the report. Chats that nobody reports are not saved. If you think you were blocked by mistake, contact us using the details in the Terms.
